Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on Thursday that left tackle Russell Okung "looked pretty good" and should be able to go on Monday against the Packers. Okung missed Seattle's week 2 win over the Cowboys, though backup Frank Omiyale did a decent job in blocking for Marshawn Lynch, who had 122 yards on 26 rushes. However, Okung is a significant upgrade in at least pass blocking and should help against the likes of Clay Mathews. Carroll also noted that tight end Zach Miller should also be able to return and he's Seattle's best blocking TE.
Fantasy Analysis: Okung had significant issues with false starts in week 1 before succumbing to a knee injury, but is otherwise a better option than Omiyale for Russell Wilson and the rest of the Seattle offense. Wilson has passed for only 304 yards in two games and is not ready to be a starting fantasy QB, but if you had to start him or other Seahawks then it's good to have the starting left tackle healthy and starting.
