Matt Forte Misses Another Practice, Fantasy Value Falling

Matt Forte missed another day of practice with an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte was held out of another practice on Thursday, making it appear less likely that he'll be ready to suit up on Sunday against the Rams. Forte injured his ankle last Thursday against the Packers and has been out of action since then, his status will have to be monitored again on Friday to see if he will be able to get pads on.

Fantasy Analysis: Forte is the far superior option to backup Michael Bush but Forte owners should already have Bush at the ready if it turns out that the starter can't go. Bush hasn't been really effective this year with 3.7 yards per carry, but he does have two touchdowns and was a solid start in relief of Darren McFadden last season. The Rams also do not have a very good run defense, so Bush could be a viable RB2 if he gets the start.
