Fred Jackson had light practice on Thursday and is ahead of schedule on his knee rehab. We break down the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson (knee) appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from a sprained LCL, according to the Bills' official website. Jackson did not practice with the team Thursday, but did run his own drills on the side. The Bills have still not given an official timetable on Jackson's return, but he expects to be back in time for Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: This is encouraging news for Jackson, who will not need surgery on his LCL, but with C.J. Spiller putting up monster numbers in his absence, it's an open question as to how much playing time he will get once he comes back. We'll keep monitoring this situation over the next few weeks.
