Eli Manning Has Average Fantasy Numbers After Big Win Over Panthers

Eli Manning didn't have to do much after the Giants jumped out to a huge lead. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Giants dominated the Panthers on Thursday night, and while Eli Manning led his to the huge victory, he didn't put up big numbers for fantasy owners. Manning finished with 288 yards passing and a single touchdown on the night.

Fantasy Impact: Unfortunately for Manning's owners, the Giants winning big doesn't correlate well to his value for fantasy lineups. Manning was surgical throughout the game, but Andre Brown made such an impact on the ground that he didn't have to throw for 510 yards like last week. It was an impressive performance for the entire Giants offense. Manning's owners, though, would prefer a shootout, which could happen in Week 4 against the Eagles.
