Ramses Barden made the most of his opportunity starting opposite of Victor Cruz against the Panthers. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Hakeem Nicks and Domenik Hixon watching from the sidelines, Ramses Barden made the most of his first real opportunity as a starter with the Giants. Barden caught nine passes for 138 yards, leading the team in receiving and targets against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Barden is going to be one of the top waiver wire pickups after Week 3 finishes up, but it's hard to tell what kind of impact he'll have once Nicks and Hixon return. He may have Hixon beat now for the No. 3 spot, but that still won't warrant much of a start for your lineup, unless your league is extremely deep. He's worth grabbing, just don't expect this trend to continue.
