The Ravens deployed Dennis Pitta as a WR for most of Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta is having a fast start to the season so far, and some of that success may be in how the Ravens are deploying him. The Baltimore Sun broke down Pitta's 51 snaps in Week 2's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and revealed that he was deployed as a wide receiver more than two thirds of the time, similar to how the Patriots used Aaron Hernandez. Pitta did most of his damage out of the slot position, where he was targeted eight times. He led the team with eight receptions for 65 yards.

Fantasy Impact: After moving ahead of Ed Dickson on the depth chart, this further confirms that the Ravens have big plans for Pitta this year. His injury worries from preseason are long over and he's a safe TE1 play against the Patriots this week.
