Martellus Bennett Off To Fast Fantasy Start With Giants

Martellus Bennett is off to a fast start with the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants TE Martellus Bennett is quickly emerging as a breakout fantasy player. According to the Giants' official website, Bennett is the first player in franchise history to score a touchdown in each of his first three games with the team. He had six catches in seven targets for 73 yards and a score in Thursday Night's demolition of the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: After languishing on the Cowboys' depth chart for five years, Bennett is finally getting an opportunity to start and has quickly become one of Eli Manning's favorite targets. He's unlikely to continue his scoring rate (currently on pace for 16 touchdowns), but Bennett should be a safe TE1 start in most leagues going forward.
