Fred Jackson will sit out Sunday's game between the Browns and the Bills, once again leaving the rushing workload to C.J. Spiller. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fred Jackson will sit out Sunday's game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns due to a knee injury suffered in the season opener. C.J. Spiller will handle the rushing load once again for the Bills while Jackson sits. Jackson hopes to return by Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: Spiller is a must-own, must-start in most fantasy football formats at the moment, especially against a Browns run defense that is giving up 4.2 yards per carry. Spiller has three touchdowns and nearly 300 yards rushing through two games. His workload may diminish when Jackson is able to return, but for now he is worth riding as an RB1.
