Antonio Gates is expected to play when the Chargers play the Falcons on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Antonio Gates is expected to play Sunday when the San Diego Chargers take on the Atlanta Falcons. Gates was listed as probable for the game Friday, and answered "night and day" when asked how much better he is feeling from last week when he was held out against the Tennessee Titans with a ribs injury.
Fantasy Impact: Gates appears to be healthy, which is great news for fantasy owners. He was a frustrating fantasy option last season due to injuries, and isn't off to a great start for 2012. When on the field he has to be considered among the elite receiving tight ends in the league, however. Start with confidence in standard leagues.
