Jeremy Maclin is out. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jeremy Maclin (hip pointer) missed most of his practices this week and has been ruled out for the game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Analysis: It's a big blow for both the Eagles and fantasy owners alike. Maclin aggravated the injury while throwing a block, and he is shooting for a Week 4 return. If you're a Maclin owner, trying to trade him is not an option with his value being so low. On the other hand, if you dont own him, it's a good idea to see how low his owner might be willing to sell. Maclin owners in deeper leagues could use Damaris Johnson as a stop-gap, but he's nothing more than a desperate WR4 or low-end flex in PPR leagues.
