Rashard Mendenhall has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Mendenhall is still recovering from a torn ACL and has yet to make his season debut.

Fantasy Impact: Mendenhall got in full practices this week, but he's not expected to be back until October. The Steelers are using their Week 4 bye to give some veterans an extra week of rest, as James Harrison and Troy Polamalu are out for the same reason. Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman will continue to split carries this week, but neither back has done much to merit fantasy starts.
