Matt Forte is out. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Forte (ankle) didn't practice all week and he has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Analysis: Forte owners should have been expecting this. The good news is that the Bears are claiming he doesn't have a high ankle sprain, so his prognosis might not be over a month. As for Michael Bush, he's about as must-start as fantasy owners could get. The Rams are 22nd in yards allowed and figure to give up plenty of yards to the Bears on Sunday. If you're really desperate, you could consider Armando Allen as a deep-league option this week. Matt Forte owners have no choice but to sit tight and hopefully he can return by Week 5.
