Aaron Hernandez is officially ruled out for Week 3, as if there was any doubt. We break down the fantasy implications.
New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, to the surprise of no one. Hernandez left Week 2's game with an apparent ankle sprain and will not be playing any time soon. The Patriots, being the Patriots, are not saying whether it's a high ankle sprain, but don't expect him back until October at the earliest.
Fantasy Impact: The only good news for fantasy owners is that this news broke early in the week, so hopefully you've had enough time to put together a Plan B at your TE position. We'll keep you updated on his recovery over the next few weeks.
