Colin McCarthy is out. We break down the fantasy implications.
Colin McCarthy (ankle) is still expected to be sidelined for several weeks and has been ruled out for Week 2.
Analysis: McCarthy was projected to give top-five value in IDP leagues, but this ankle injury has really been a gigantic letdown for fantasy owners. If you can afford to stash him, we'd suggest doing just that. However, it can be really tough to have IDP guys on your bench when it's not a bye week, so it might be painful and necessary to cut him. Will Witherspoon will man the middle and he's a sneaky LB2 in IDP leagues while Zach Brown and Akeem Ayers could be nice plays as well.
