Steven Jackson is speculatively out for Sunday's game between the Rams and the Bears, according to speculation. We break down the fantasy implications.
Steven Jackson may not play Sunday when the St. Louis Rams take on the Chicago Bears, Michael Fabiano of NFL.com speculates based on speculation from a source close to the team. Jackson is considered a game-time decision with a groin injury. According to the source, whose actual existence we can only speculate, Jackson is likely out.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy updates don't get any vaguer than this, but in all seriousness there probably is a kernel of truth to it. Thankfully, the Rams and Bears are playing in the first wave of games Sunday, meaning Jackson's status will be confirmed by the team before you have to lock in your lineup. Speculatively adjust your lineup as if Jackson is out, but be sure to check back on the inactive report about an hour before kickoff.
