Austin Collie is active for Sunday's game game between the Colts and the Jaguars, but Donnie Avery is still ahead on the depth chart. We break down the fantasy implications.
Austin Collie is active for Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars, but Donnie Avery will start ahead of him according to Phillip Wilson of the Indianapolis Star. Collie missed the Colts' first two games of the regular season while battling concussion symptoms. Avery has emerged as the Colts' No. 2 receiver with 12 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown through two games.
Fantasy Impact: Don't be surprised if Collie is limited during Sunday's game. He has missed a lot of reps in practice, and fresh off another concussion the Colts may not want to expose the wideout to too many big hits. Avery, meanwhile, is a decent WR2/Flex option in standard leagues, especially in PPR. The fantasy value of the two receivers could shift as Collie gets back up to speed. For now, Avery is the one worth owning.
