C.J. Spiller is hurt. We break down the fantasy implications.

C.J. Spiller was tackled awkwardly in the first quarter and was carted off on the field. The early word is that he injured his shoulder or collarbone on the play. He exited the game with four carries for 16 yards and two catches for 42 yards and a score.

UPDATE: Spiller is out for the game. The X-ray results were not released.

Analysis: Uh oh. Spiller has been the fantasy MVP to this point and going off on a cart is a terrible sign for the Clemson product. His arm was immobilized and this has all the signs of what could be a serious injury. Tashard Choice will take over as the top back for Buffalo and he would be an interesting add in almost all leagues in the event Spiller misses significant time. Stay tuned.
