Ryan Mathews and Antonio Gates are active. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ryan Mathews (clavicle) and Antonio Gates (ribs) are active for today's game, as expected.

Analysis: Both players figure to be a big part of the plan today. Antonio Gates was a surprising inactive last week, but fantasy owners should be confident when plugging him into the lineup. As for Ryan Mathews, Norv Turner had great things to say about his star back and he should see most of the work on first and second down. The Chargers are going to need all the help they can get on offense to hang with the Falcons and this game might be one of the highest scoring contests of the day.
