MINNEAPOLIS, MN - SEPTEMBER 23: Kyle Rudolph #82 of the Minnesota Vikings celebrates scoring a touchdown with John Carlson #89 during the first quarter of the game against the San Francisco 49ers on September 23, 2012 at Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Photo by Hannah Foslien/Getty Images)
Kyle Rudolph caught two TDs. We break down the fantasy implications.
Kyle Rudolph exploded on the unsuspecting 49ers with his five catches for 36 yards and two TDs.
Analysis: Rudolph's second TD was big to give the Vikings some cushion. Christian Ponder was extremely impressive today and that certainly bodes well for Rudolph. He had six targets today and he has routinely been Ponder's second favorite target behind Percy Harvin. Rudolph had tons of hype in the preseason and it looks like he's living up to it. He should be owned in all competitive leagues.
