Darrius Heyward-Bey was knocked out. We break down the fantasy implications.
Darrius Heyward-Bey was hit hard going over the middle by Ryan Mundy and it appeared that he was knocked out on the field. The Raiders trainers tended to him and carted him off the field. DHB did give the thumbs up sign while he was being wheeled off, so he has regained consciousness. He left the game with two catches for 14 yards and a score.
Analysis: First and foremost, we're all pulling for DHB to recover from this ugly hit. As we move on to the less important fantasy stuff it looks like owners are going to be without the Maryland product for a little while. Denarius Moore becomes the clear-cut number one and has already scored a TD since DHB was taken off the field. He's probably going to be a must-start against the Broncos. Rod Streater will be the sexy pickup in fantasy leagues and Jurno Criner could be an option in deeper formats.
