Jacquizz Rodgers is becoming more of a factor for the Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.
With Michael Turner aging and the Falcons hoping to limit his carries this season, Jacquizz Rodgers now looks like a decent flex play for fantasy owners. The second-year running back carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards and caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers.
Fantasy Impact: Turner looked better on Sunday, and the Falcons running game in general stepped things up after a dismal first two weeks. Rodgers isn't going to emerge as the feature back, but he is going to receive a substantial cut of the work each game. He's a great option for PPR leagues, and could be a solid flex play in standard leagues if he can continue to make big plays in the red zone.
