New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles barely participated in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Not including returns, Sproles only touched the ball seven times; all carries. Sproles is one of the more dynamic players in this offense, and his lack of touches may have contributed to the Saints' third consecutive loss.
Fantasy Analysis: Sproles was a highly-productive player in this offense a year ago but has been off to a slow start. It's fair to say the absence of Sean Payton has ultimately affected Sproles' production, and the proficiency of the offense as a whole. Sproles' game-breaking ability and role in this high-octane New Orleans offense made him a desirable player to own in fantasy. He should still be in the lineup week-to-week, but if someone on your bench winds up being more productive on a consistent basis, feel free to try a substitution.
