Heath Miller Catches 2 TDs Sunday In Yet Another Solid Fantasy Outing

OAKLAND, CA - SEPTEMBER 23: Heath Miller #83 of the Pittsburgh Steelers catches a short pass in front of Philip Wheeler #52 of the Oakland Raiders during the second quarter of an NFL football game at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on September 23, 2012 in Oakland, California. Heath Miller had eight receptions for 60 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's game between the Steelers and the Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.

Heath Miller had eight receptions for 60 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders. Miller was targeted 10 times, just behind the 11 targets received by Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown, each. Both of Miller's touchdowns came from four yards out of the end zone in the first quarter.

Fantasy Impact: Miller has been one of fantasy football's pleasant surprises at tight end this season. He has now caught a touchdown pass in every he has played so far. The Steelers' passing game won't click every week like it did Sunday, but Miller's consistent targets within the red zone make him a decent starting tight end in standard leagues.
