Carson Palmer passed for 209 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's game between the Raiders and the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carson Palmer went 24-for-34 passing for 209 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's game between the Oakland Raiders and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Palmer threw touchdown passes to Darrius Heyward-Bey, Richard Gordon and Denarius Moore during the win.

Fantasy Impact: It still wasn't a spectacular outing from a yardage standpoint. Palmer's first two games of the season in which he combined for two touchdowns and one interception are more along the lines of what you should expect most weeks. Still, he is a good backup in standard leagues, capable of the occasional big day against the right opponent.
