Darrius Heyward-Bey spent Sunday night in the hospital in stable condition after being carted off the field with a neck injury against the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Darrius Heyward-Bey spent Sunday night in the hospital in stable condition after suffering a scary head/neck injury on a helmet-to-helmet hit during Sunday's game between the Oakland Raiders and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Doctors are treating the wide receiver for a neck injury and do not believe he suffered a concussion, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Fantays Impact: Heyward-Bey caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown on five targets before having to be carted off the field. Above all else, we hope that Heyward-Bey comes out of this ordeal okay. Obviously, he should not be in your starting lineup until he is ready to get back on the field. Be sure to check back during the week for more.
