Beanie Wells May Have Turf Toe, Fantasy Value On The Decline

Beanie Wells could have turf toe. We break down the fantasy implications.

Beanie Wells left the Arizona Cardinals Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles with an injury that he now says may be turf toe. Team doctors will check out Wells on Monday to determine the true nature of his current situation.

Fantasy Impact: Wells' absence could be bigger news for Ryan Williams' owners. With Wells on the sidelines, Williams actually finished with a decent day on the ground rushing for 83 yards total. If Wells does in fact have turf toe, the situation will be cloudy going forward as it can be an injury that tends to linger. Wells does not look good running the ball so far in 2012, so hopefully his owners also picked up Williams when they had the chance. Be sure to check back for the latest news on his injury.
