Darrius Heyward-Bey does not appear to have a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.
Darrius Heyward-Bey spent the night in a local hospital in stable condition after leaving the field on a stretcher against the Steelers. Reports now indicate the he has a neck injury and not a concussion, although earlier reports conflict with the latest developments.
Fantasy Impact: The hit on Heyward-Bey was an ugly sight to witness, and it is fortunate that his condition is not more serious afterwards. Reports have gone back and fourth on whether or not he has a concussion, but the latest news states it is his neck that is injured. His condition will continued to be monitored, so be sure to check on his status going forward. It's tough to believe he will be able to play in Week 4, but it will depend on how serious his injury really is.
