Peyton Hillis is wearing a walking boot Monday, but the Chiefs expect him to play in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.
Kansas City Chiefs RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) is wearing a walking boot on Monday, reports Nick Jacobs. Hillis left Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints with the injury, but walked under his own power and coach Romeo Crennel expects him to play next week against the Chargers. He had only 11 yards on three carries in the game.
Fantasy Impact: Hillis played only nine snaps Sunday, while teammate Jamaal Charles exploded with 288 yards from scrimmage in a wild shootout game. After three games, he has just 93 rushing yards and no touchdowns, and still doesn't look anywhere near the level he did in 2010. It's unknown if the Chiefs will continue their RB committee, but Charles was just too good to justify limiting snaps. Hillis should be on fantasy benches for the time being.
