Matt Schaub Practices Monday, Fantasy Value Safe

Chris Humphreys-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Matt Schaub practiced without limitation Monday for the Texans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Matt Schaub practiced without limitation Monday for the Houston Texans, according to the team's official site. Schaub suffered a gash on his ear, but avoided a serious head energy after being knocked of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos for one play by an illegal hit.

Fantasy Impact: Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said that Schaub was fine, and that he "took his normal Monday, worked out with the team and threw a little bit," suggesting that the quarterback should be okay going forward. Schaub rewarded fantasy owners with four touchdowns and and 290 yards passing during Sunday's win. He won't put up big numbers every week within a run-heavy offense, but he should be considered a low-end starter in standard eagues.
