More will be known on Julian Edelman's hand injury after practice Wednesday, according to New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. Edelman injured his hand during the second quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He finished the night with four catches for 28 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Fantasy Impact: Edelman was on his way to a potentially big night before being forced to leave the game. While the controversy with Wes Welker has been a bit overblown, it does appear that Edelman is taking on a much-expanded role within the Patriots' offense. He is worth a flyer off waivers, especially in PPR leagues.
