C.J. Spiller has not been ruled out by the Bills for Week 4, though it appears more likely that the running back will return for Week 5 against the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

C.J. Spiller could still play Sunday's Week 4 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots, but head coach Chan Gailey believes the running back is much more likely to return the next week against the San Francisco 49ers, according to the Buffalo News. Spiller suffered a shoulder injury during last week's win over the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Impact: With Fred Jackson likely returning against the Pats, C.J. Spiller fantasy owners have to be worried about the role of the running back going forward. Jackson could take back the Bills' top spot in the backfield with a solid performance against the Patriots. Still, don't count on the coaching staff to relegate Spiller to the bench altogether. He commands touches at this point, though likely less than when the job was his alone.
