Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Steve Breaston missed practice this week with a knee injury. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Steve Breaston (knee) was held out of practice on Wednesday, per Adam Telcher. The Chiefs are fresh off a big road win against New Orleans, looking to face a tough San Diego team in Week 4. Breaston was a full participant against the Saints, but whether or not he'll suit up against the Chargers is still unknown.

Fantasy Analysis: Breaston has been a non-factor in the Chiefs offense, with multiple players outshining him so far. Breaston's new injury does not help his fantasy value at all, and he hardly had any to begin with. The worthwhile point-producers in Kansas City are Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe and now even Tony Moeaki and Jonathan Baldwin are better options. Avoid Breaston until he gives you a reason not to.
