Doug Baldwin is back at full practice this week. We break down the fantasy implications.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (shoulder) is back at full practice this week after missing Monday Night's crazy game against the Packers. Baldwin has been limited this year during the preseason and regular season with various injuries and has played in two games so far with two catches for 13 yards. He was the Seahawks leading receiver in 2011.
Fantasy Take: Head coach Pete Carroll stated earlier this week that he's to blame for the Seahawks low amount of passing yards and passing attempts as the team tries to ease Russell Wilson into being a starting NFL quarterback. This news really limits all of Seattle's passing options in fantasy football, and Wilson has thrown for only 434 yards through three games. Could Baldwin be a fantasy sleeper? Maybe later in the season if the Seahawks open up the passing game a bit more, but it's highly unlikely any Hawk will top 1,000 yards.
