Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was checked for a concussion by the team's medical staff dung Sunday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Griffin said (via The Free Lance Star) that he felt "a little dizzy" after trying to score on a third-quarter run. Later in the drive, Griffin threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss, and was approached by trainers on the sidelines after the play.
Fantasy Impact: Griffin is exciting to watch but he has taken a lot of hits through the first three games of his rookie season. Griffin doesn't appear to be in any current danger of missing playing time but fantasy owners, especially those who have Griffin in dynasty leagues, can't like to see him being hit as often as he is. Assuming he can stay on the field, Griffin is a No. 1 fantasy quarterback this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
