Stephen Hill 'doubtful' for Week 4, according to Rex Ryan: Fantasy implications

Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Stephen Hill is doubtful for Week 4 against the 49ers, according to Jets head coach Rex Ryan. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stephen Hill is doubtful for Week 4, according to New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan. Hill will likely sit Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers due to a hamstring injury suffered this past weekend against the Miami Dolphins. The rookie wide receiver was forced to sit out practice Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: After an impressive debut in the season opener, Hill has failed to catch a pass over the Jets' last two games. There is no word yet that Hill is expected to miss game time beyond Week 4, but even if he is fine, you should probably avoid the rookie as a fantasy option for now. Hill is simply too inconsistent and too raw to be considered anywhere except in deeper leagues.
