Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (toe) was limited in practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was limited in practice on Thursday. Stewart missed last week's game because of a toe injury and also missed the first game of the season with an ankle injury. The Panthers take on the Atlanta Falcons this weekend.

Fantasy Impact: Stewart admitted that he was still feeling some pain on Wednesday so his limited participation on Thursday was not a shock. The problem with Stewart from a fantasy standpoint is the fact that he plays in such a crowded backfield and it's never clear how much work he will get. DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert would again see a boost in fantasy value if Stewart can't play. Williams and Stewart are flex plays at best this week against the Falcons.
