Willis McGahee practicing Thursday, has good fantasy value against Raiders

Chris Humphreys-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Willis McGahee got a second straight day of practice in and is not expected to miss Sunday's game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Denver Broncos RB Willis McGahee (ribs) practiced again on Thursday and he's expected to play in Week 4, reports Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. McGahee left Week 3's game against the Texans with bruised ribs after getting 36 yards on 12 carries. He will decide later in the week whether to wear extra padding for Sunday's game.

Fantasy Impact: It's not a given that he will play yet, and Friday's injury reports will shed more light on his status, but it's good news that he had two days of practice with no incidents or setbacks. McGahee is a safe RB2 this week against the questionable Oakland defense.
