Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera says he feels good about Jonathan Stewart's chances of playing in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications
Editor's Update: Jonathan Stewart is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera says he feels good about Jonathan Stewart's chances of playing this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons. Stewart has been limited in practice this week after missing last week's game against the New York Giants because of a toe injury. DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert did almost all of the work at running back in Stewart's absence in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Things have been building toward Stewart playing this week against Atlanta but that shouldn't excite fantasy owners too much. Stewart is stuck in a crowded backfield situation and is clearly susceptible to injury. Both Stewart and Williams are flex plays but Williams remains the slightly better fantasy play even if Stewart is active on Sunday against Atlanta.
