Matthew Stafford practices, expected to be ready for Week 4 fantasy starts

Don McPeak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Matthew Stafford practiced again on Friday for the Detroit Lions and is expected to play on Sunday against Minnesota. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford practiced again on Friday and will play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford sat out a day earlier this week because of a sore hip but returned on Thursday. Stafford had an MRI this week after leaving last Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Impact: Stafford is a No. 1 fantasy starter this week and owners should use him with confidence now that he has practiced both Thursday and Friday. Stafford has not had a game with multiple touchdown passes this season and his owners would like to see that change this week against Minnesota, which has had trouble with its pass defense at times this season.
