Dustin Keller is questionable for Week 4 against the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, reports Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Keller missed the last two games with a sore hamstring that has bothered him since preseason, and coach Rex Ryan admits that the team is "not as confident as yesterday" about his status. Keller has only one catch for seven yards on the season.
Fantasy Impact: It's never a good sign when the boastful, swaggering Ryan is feeling grim about a player's chances. Even if Keller is active on Sunday, he will not be 100% or useful against the blistering Niners defense. For that matter, I can't recommend starting any Jet this week against the Niners.
