Darren McFadden a full go in Friday practice, fantasy status is just fine

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Darren McFadden had a full practice on Friday, and the Raiders aren't concerned about his bruised shoulder. We break down the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden has a bruised shoulder, but should be just fine on Sunday. According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, McFadden was a full participant in Friday practices, an encouraging sign after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. The team does not consider his shoulder to be a concern. The Raiders play the Denver Broncos in Week 4.

Fantasy Impact: After two slow games, McFadden is starting to warm up - he had 113 rushing yards and a TD against the Pittsburgh Steelers, for a robust 6.3 YPC. He does have the reputation for being fragile, but there's nothing to indicate that he'll be hobbled by the shoulder. He should be good for 15-20 touches and 100+ yards from scrimmage as usual this week.
