Andre Johnson fantasy status probably despite limited participation in practice

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Andre Johnson is listed as probable for Sunday's game between the Texans and the Titans despite being limited in practice throughout the week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Andre Johnson is listed as probable for Sunday's game between the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans despite being limited practice throughout the week, John Glennon of the Nashville Tennessean reports. Johnson is dealing with a groin injury, but his status will likely not be affected for Week 4.

Fantasy Impact: While Johnson is listed with an injury, there is a good chance that the Texans are simply being cautious with the veteran and recently injury-prone wide receiver. He should be safe to deploy as you normally would. Johnson has surprisingly had just eight targets over his last two games. He had a moster performance in the season opener, however, and should continue to start Johnson as a WR1/WR2 in fantasy leagues under the assumption that the trend won't continue.
