Matt Forte has a chance to play on Monday night, increasing fantasy value

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte completed a week of limited practice on Friday, giving him a shot at playing in the team's Monday Night Football contest against the Dallas Cowboys. We break down the fantasy implications.

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte completed a week of limited practice on Friday, giving him a shot at playing in the team's Monday Night Football contest against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Vaughn McClure. Forte suffered a sprained ankle in the Bears' Week 2 loss against the Green Bay Packers and missed the team's Week 3 win against the St. Louis Rams.

Fantasy Impact: Matt Forte is a fantasy stud when healthy, so his return would be huge. The fact that he plays on Monday night is worrisome, however, because if he is unable to play, fantasy owners won't have much flexibility with their lineup. Check back on his status when the Bears release their official injury report on Saturday.
