Dustin Keller should be ready to go for the Jets regular season opener. We break down the fantasy implications.
Head coach Rex Ryan believes Dustin Keller will play in the Jets regular season opener this week. He wasn't ready declare Keller a definitive starter, but it appears that New York's leading pass catcher from 2011 should be prepared to face off against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets offense was in shambles throughout the majority of the preseason. They went without scoring a single touchdown in the first three games of 2012, until third-string quarterback Greg McElroy saved the day this past week. Keller finished last season with 65 receptions for 815 yards and five touchdowns total. His best feature so far in his four years played is that he's yet to miss a single regular season game. He'll look to keep that streak alive this week, but don't expect him to be more than a TE2 unless something radically changes in the Jets stagnant offense.
