We're back for Week 4 of the 2012 NFL season. The Ravens and Browns got things going on Thursday in a game Cleveland hung around in before the inevitable Brandon Weeden pick-six. Anquan Boldin put together his strongest performance of the season with nine receptions for 131 yards, while Torrey Smith continued his strong run with 97 yards and a touchdown. The Browns passing game showed some life as Greg Little had 77 receiving yards. They remain bench fodder for now, but it is a step in the right direction.

The wrap of Thursday Night Football means we can get ready for the rest of the Week 4 slate. The Steelers and Colts are on bye, so make sure and sit Reggie Wayne, Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown. Otherwise, there is plenty of talent available.

We have been providing you with rankings all week long, but as Sunday dawns, it would be helpful to have some projections as well. Our Week 4 wide receiver rankings are based on our pool of knowledge and often a bit of gut instinct. To improve your chances this year, we are going to provide Sunday projections courtesy of the folks at numberFire. numberFire uses series of mathematical models, to break down the action and figure out who exactly is performing well. They use the power of predictive and regressive modeling to more accurately project future performance.

The projections at numberFire continue to be relatively down on Julio Jones. They rank him No. 8, which is respectable enough, but given his matchup against a poor Panthers defense, it is a bit surprising to see him not ranked higher. They are also not quite so high on Demaryius Thomas in spite of a choice matchup against a horrific Raiders secondary.

numberFire claims a higher predictive rate than the major companies (ESPN, CBS, Yahoo!). However, as with anything in fantasy football, we at SB Nation Fantasy view numberFire as one more weapon in your arsenal to claim victory. The numbers can help over the long term, but there are enough variables week-to-week that multiple sources can provide great value.
