New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is officially listed as out on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is officially listed as out on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Hernandez missed last week's game with an ankle injury that he suffered during Week 2. Hernandez did not practice at all this week but was seen walking around the locker room without his protective boot. He has made progress but is still a few weeks away from playing.

Fantasy Impact: Aaron Hernandez has the upside to be the top tight end in fantasy football, but durability has always been a major concern with Hernandez. This ankle injury is concerning for his long-term fantasy prospects, considering the tendency of ankle injuries to linger. But it's a good sign that he is coming along.
