Knowshon Moreno Is A Healthy Scratch Again, Fantasy Value Stays With Hillman And Ball

Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Knowshon Moreno is out again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Running back Knowshon Moreno was a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. Rookie Ronnie Hillman will be third on the depth chart and see some third-down snaps today against the Raiders. Willis McGahee is also active.

Analysis: So you wonder why many football people are vehemently against taking a running back in the first round? Knowshon has been in the doghouse since his sophomore year and lacks ball security and doesn't have the burst he was expected to have coming out of Georgia. Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball will need Willis McGahee to go down to injury to have value in normal-sized leagues. McGahee has a nice matchup today and should be viewed as a RB2 against the Raiders.
