Matt Schaub has fine fantasy day in blowout victory

Brett Davis-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Matt Schaub threw two TDs against the Titans in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub completed 20 of 28 passes for 202 yards, two touchdowns, zero picks and a 115.5 QB Rating in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans. Schaub appeared to have no issues after last week's vicious hit that cost him part of his ear. The Texans defeated the Titans 38-14 to remain undefeated.

Fantasy Impact: Once again, the Texans didn't need to lean on Schaub too much, taking a big lead early thanks to two pick sixes and running down the clock in the 2nd half. He still got in his kicks, throwing a 28-yard strike to Owen Daniels in the 3rd quarter that effectively sealed the win. Schaub is never going to be an elite fantasy producer, but he's as steady as QB2 players get. Houston visits the New York Jets in Week 5.
