Trent Richardson will likely start the Cleveland Browns' season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Pat Shurmur said following Monday's practice. Richardson practiced Monday for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 9. The running back immediately took first-team reps ahead of backup Montario Hardesty.
Analysis: Be sure to follow-up with Richardson and make sure he stays in practice the rest of the week. He appears to be safe to deploy in your starting lineup, however. He has one of the highest upsides of any player in fantasy football this season, not just among rookies. He is set to take on a heavy workload behind a strong offensive line. Physically, there are few in the league that approach his combination of speed and strength.
