New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles was not listed on the team's injury report on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles was not listed on the team's injury report on Wednesday. Sproles injured a knee in a preseason loss last month to the New England Patriots. Sproles did not play in the team's final preseason game and had said that being ready for Week 1 against the Washington Redskins was his primary goal.

Fantasy Impact: This is a good sign for fantasy owners counting on Sproles this weekend. He had been practicing on a limited basis because of the knee injury but it sounds like he's ready to go on Sunday. Sproles is a versatile back with added value in PPR leagues. He figures to be a solid No. 2 RB back this weekend against Washington.
